CDT Presents Pilobolus

Pilobolus – named after a fungus that propels its spores with extraordinary speed, accuracy and strength – is a dance company founded by a group of Dartmouth College students in 1971.

Pilobolus is known for a unique and beautiful form of modern dance characterized by intense physical interaction between the bodies of the performers. It requires extreme strength, flexibility and athleticism and challenges the way we think about dance. Physically and intellectually, the company engages and inspires audiences around the world.

Among many others, Pilobolus has been featured on the 79th Academy Awards, Sesame Street, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Oprah.
