On November 18 and 20 as part of Miami University’s Fringe Festival I have the great honor of acting as Artistic Director for the Big Ol’ Tiny L’il Dance Concert. This is the first dance concert produced by the Theatre Department as a part of their season – it’s a Big Ol’ deal!
The evening consists of three pieces (see? It’s Tiny L’il too). A work choreographed by a Senior dance minor, Genáe Yeldell, a new work set by yours truly, and a piece set by our Guest Artist Countess Winfrey of the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.
Tickets are free, but reservations are required. Tickets are available on the MU Box Office. https://ev13.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=THE&linkID=miamioh&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode= . Since seating is limited we will also be live streaming the performance on Saturday to reach a wider audience. https://www.youtube.com/user/MiamiOHCCA/featured
The concert is danced by 99% dance minors, theatre majors are 100% responsible for tech and production support, and over a dozen other majors of study are represented.
If you can make it to Oxford, I’d love to have you! If you can join us in the digital sphere, please do!
